An easy to pick up and play tactics game for anyone!

Keeping it simple, we wanted to design a puzzle game guised as a tactics game.
Units only do one thing, making them easy to understand, and you only to click!

By keeping the game under one action, there was a challenge in designing how much information was available to the player. The camera had to be in one place, only one perspective, and no additional menus over what was absolutely needed. But overall this allowed us to make a simple and easy to enter experience for all players. The cute designs make it interesting and intriguing, drawing players in while maintaining their interesting with a game that can become rather challenging.

We had a lot of communication issues during development with people moving or changing jobs. This forced us to start using more consistent methods passing over information or files. We opened up a cloud, started a mood board, set several deadlines and planned meetings. We’re very happy with the results though.
